About This Community

Welcome to Courtyard Manor of Fenton

Courtyard Manor is an assisted living community specializing in the care of the physically frail and those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other forms of memory loss. We also care for those with behavioral needs that other communities may not be able to manage.

Our Mission

From your first contact with a Courtyard Manor representative, you can feel the warmth and care for what we do. Our mission is to provide the best hands-on experience for our residents while preserving their dignity. We recognize that aging is a normal life process which everyone experiences in their own unique way so we continually strive to create an environment that encourages, enriches, and fulfills our residents' daily lives. You can have peace of mind knowing your loved one is in good hands.

Courtyard Manor is proud to offer specialized care for those 50 years and older who are experiencing challenging behaviors that other communities may not be able to manage. When searching for the best community to manage the types of behaviors listed below, skilled nursing may not always be the answer.

  • OCD
  • Yelling or spitting
  • Toileting Issues
  • Anxiety and Agitation Issues
  • Verbally Aggressive Behavior
  • General Attention Seeking Behaviors
  • Wandering and Elopement Risks

Our facility manages care for both behavioral and physical needs and offers our residents the ability to thrive within a secured, supervised environment. In addition, we do offer one-on-one care at an additional cost if needed.

We are also privileged to have both medical and psychiatric doctors available who can respond and help manage our residents' care needs 24 hours a day contributing to a decrease in hospital admissions of your loved one.

Much like a family, our patient, hands-on employees spend a large majority of time with your loved one and are trained to recognize changes in behavior and are involved in extensive training specifically related to those exhibiting disruptive behaviors, as well as those with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Staff longevity provides consistency in our residents' daily routine and individualized care plans are designed for each resident based on their pre-admission assessment, which allows our community the acceptance of these unique behaviors.

We visited Courtyard Manor of Fenton. We were able to walk around the exterior. It looked like a lovely place. There are nice exterior areas that people can make use of. It was a very positive experience. We were able to be on the outside, but it looked well cared for. The staff seemed great, the one we met with anyway. We were able to see inside the window a little more and the room looked very spacious and comfortable.

I chose Courtyard Manor of Fenton for my aunt because the director was very knowledgeable and they seemed like they really care there. It was a very good decision. The size is small and she gets personal attention. The staff is wonderful. Her room is clean, comfortable, she can have any item she chooses from home, and it's very big too, its spacious. She's allowed to have a dog. They have indoor activities. I'm getting more than I pay for compared to the other places I've seen.
