My mom is at Lakeshore Woods, and it's been pretty good. It's got a couple of courtyards. You can get rooms that look out onto the courtyards. That's not what we picked, though. We picked the larger room.
They do activities every day, so it's been really good. There's been some problems with the staff. The food is really good. They have exercises every day at 11 o'clock, and then there's something else every day at 10:00. It might be a prayer group or coffee talk; it's different all the time. Then there's another activity too, where they might bake cookies or they might play bingo. It varies.
I'd say it's good value for the money.
