My friend has moved into Vista Springs Astounding Joy. She has been there for a couple of months now. Right away, they really seemed to have a good understanding of what I was looking for and the difficulties that my friend might encounter. We didn't know that she had dementia yet, so they said, "Whatever she needs, that's where we will put her." They did an evaluation and they determined that she was really better suited for the mentally impaired section. They said, "We've got an opening," and they welcomed my friend. They somehow even convinced her that a roommate would be good, which is amazing. They set up her room, and she really has been feeling at home there being able to participate in activities when she wants, but she is certainly able to go back to her room and rest. Everything is right there for her. They invite her to other activities. She's just very, very comfortable and well taken care of there. The laundry, the bathing, and all of that has turned out to be very, very good. Vista Springs has been exceptional in avoiding COVID. All the way that first year, they did not have any COVID cases whatsoever. Months ago, one of the residents -- who happened to be the only one who refused the shots -- went to the chiropractor and came back with COVID. However, they very quickly isolated and locked the whole place down. Their procedures are excellent. Here's another thing that I love: They are now bringing occupational therapy into the building. That's fantastic that they can include that in their services. I'm very pleased. They have been looking out for my friend and making sure that she is happy. There are a lot of residents who are happy there.
