Their executive director lacks such empathy, compassion, and reason that it is not possible that this facility has their patient's best interest in mind. This has been clearly exemplified by a number of recent patient care issues with my grandmother at this facility, which I will not divulge on in this particular review. I would, however, strongly encourage you to look elsewhere for the care of your loved one. The only thing this facility genuinely cares about their bottom line, not patient-centered, compassionate care.

Woodlands MC of Rockland. This facility is by most the bottom of the barrel. The communication with the staff here is just plain terrible. My family member fell multiple times here the staff are SUPPOSE to call and alert the family and failed to do so more than once, along with moving my family member to multiple different rooms each week without calling and telling us. The staff here make it very clear they care more about getting their money every month than the care the residents. A day I had to wait at the front door for over 10 minutes with another visitor to be let in because staff beeper for the alarm had "dead batteries''. To top it off my family member past away at the hospital all the other companies that took care (hospice, doctors offices) were kind enough to send a sympathy card to the family. Woodlands doesn't even have the decency to send me a sympathy card after the thousands of dollars they have received. This to me makes it clear how they run this place they care more about the money than anything else. If you care about your loved one don't choose this facility there are much better ones around with staff that actually care and take pride in their job.
