The tour at Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek was a very good experience. The place was very warm, friendly, and inviting. It was nice. The person that I spoke to was Ruth. She gave me the tour, and she was very friendly and informative. I think the rooms were kind of small. They only had a one-bedroom apartment on the memory care side, and the rest were studios. They had a variety of people there.
They have art activities. They have bingo. They usually have one event a month. They had October Fest when I was there, where they had music and food. They have a barber shop, a doctor, and a nurse practitioner. I just think that the memory care could be a bigger area.

My grandmother is in Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek. It's a place that offers not only assisted living, but a memory care side. It worked out well for my grandmother, who is starting to have dementia. It's well-kept, and it also has very nice-sized rooms. The areas for the people that live there have a nice and open concept. On the memory side, they bring the patient out into the common area, pretty much all day to do activities. The people working there are very nice and friendly. They communicate very well if something happens that we need to know or if she needs anything. It seems like they have very good teamwork. It's definitely pricey, but she gets everything that she needs.
