Maplewood at Mill Hill was new. Their accommodations were more like apartments and suites, and they were nice. It's very comfortable and pretty. I visited the memory care and they had function rooms, beautiful dining rooms, bars, and outdoor areas for the residents. The director and the receptionist were also very nice.

We are leaning towards Maplewood At Mill Hill because it was nice and new, and we are very happy with it. The staff who gave us the tour was very good. I saw a very nice studio room. It was small but very applicable to what we would need. I also saw a 2-bedroom apartment.

Having to move your family member into an Assisted Living location is not an easy decision. Mill Hill was not the first place we brought our Dad - the first location was a beautiful spot - but terrible service and care - and we were constantly getting increases and new fees. It was all about the money there. Mill Hill was an amazing move for my Dad - everyone cared for him, like a family member. It made the tough transition so much easier for us. Money was barely discussed and no hidden fees and increases like we experienced before. The memory care was bright and welcoming, and the rooms look like apartments. And the halls and common areas were clean and beautiful. The dining room did not have a facility feel to it and they even had separate dining room area if you wanted to have a private meal with your family.

After a lot of looking and comparing it was an easy decision to choose Mill Hill Residence as the place my aunt. The leadership and staff were patient and supportive in helping to insure a smooth and pleasant life style change that my aunt was facing. After six months she has adapted very well greatly due to the skill and attention of the Mill Hill staff. It is very reassuring to our family to know she is getting the best care possible

“What I love most about Mill Hill is the staff. They treat my mom - and make her feel - like family. She’s flourished since she moved in there. She’s always been a fussy eater but eats ALL three meals a day there and raves about the food!”
