Oasis At Dodge Park took care of my father before he sadly passed away and the two owners were the most wonderful people you could ever imagine. They got to know their residents. They even came to my father's funeral and brought his roommate with them. It's a newer place and they deal with dementia, which my father had. They had very nice rooms and very nice outdoor space. They did lots of crafts, music (they brought in people to play piano or guitar), painting, sing-alongs, and exercises. It was expensive, but the meals were good. I have nothing bad to say about them. They bathed him, dressed him, and were very good to him. It's a gorgeous place.

Both my parents moved into Oasis at Dodge Park in June 2021 when COVID was still at a high. My wife and I feel very fortunate that Oasis had a room available, having had to move them from another facility. Due to COVID and the fact that my parents appear to thrive better without visitors, we have not been inside the facility, but pictures of my parents throughout the facility make us feel very comforted that Oasis is the best place for them. All of our verbal and on-line interactions with staff members have been professional, personable, compassionate, informative and very helpful to us... knowing very well ourselves how much work it can be to care for TWO parents with dementia/Alzheimers at the same time. In our hearts and thoughts, we send them all our thanks and appreciation many times per day. In addition, from the few conversations we've had with my parents, they seem to be very happy with Oasis, despite not knowing where they are or why they cannot go home.

There are simply not enough words to thank you for the exceptional care provided to my mother over the past five years. Louise was an extraordinarily special person, and I feel that we found equally special people to be her caregivers. I recall back in 2017, how anxious I was making the decision to move mom from her home of 50 years. feared how and if she would adjust to new surroundings, especially given her blindness. However, from the day she arrived at The Oasis, my fears were alleviated. The warmth and compassion of the staff, as well as the inclusive environment, allowed mom to adjust far better than I ever expected. Throughout her stay, and most notably the last few months of her life, Louise was treated with kindness, compassion and dignity. Having been with her around the clock during her last week, I was able to witness first-hand the sincere and genuine nature of this care and concern. Across all shifts and hours of the day, each individual tending to mom was nothing short of amazing. In addition, the kind words and actions extended to me made this terribly difficult time easier. There is no way for me to adequately recognize and thank each staff member that cared so much for Louise. If I try to name them individually, I will surely miss someone. Instead, I can only hope that the enclosed contribution will serve as a token of my heartfelt appreciation for each and every one of them. Please use it to benefit mom's caregivers in the best way you see fit. Thank you again for everything. I miss seeing everyone I have come to know and grow so fond of over the years. I wish you all much happiness and continued success

We feel very lucky to have transitioned my father to the Oasis at Dodge Park from a traditional assisted living environment. With advanced Alzheimer's, we were trying to find a facility that would provide him with the highest quality of life and be able to effectively manage his health and behavioral needs - the Oasis at Dodge Park has far exceeded our expectations. From the start, the application, medical assessment and move-in process was efficient, coordinated and straightforward. All members of the staff worked together to address all my dad's personal and medical needs and they continue to place a high priority on communicating with the family. Despite the advancing of the disease, my dad is healthier than he had been and looks so well cared for every time we visit. It is easy to see that every staff member takes pride in their work and participates in the care and well-being of the residents - from the cleanliness of the facility, the daily food offerings, medical care and entertainment options. They care and it shows. Having experienced other facilities over the years, Oasis at Dodge Park stands alone at the top for our family.

It is a comfort to know how closely you are keeping track of the visitors and staff when it comes to the vaccines and the tests. You deserve credit for caring and doing the research that is helping keep the pandemic problems to a minimum. I feel my dad J. Morgan is safer at Oasis than any other long term care or hospital! Thanks again for your efforts and vigilance.

The facility and staff are amazing. To see such transformation in mom so quickly. She is looking more focused and has her smile back. She has made friends. Her caregivers have gotten her out of a wheelchair and walking around. Their communication with the family is constant. The scheduling to visit is easy and the video calls priceless. I give Oasis at dodge park 5 stars. Happy for our mom to be able to call her home

My aunt, who was single her entire life, was well cared for in her last couple of years at The Oasis at Dodge Park. I chose Oasis for my Aunt based on the reputation for quality of care and service to their residents. The rooms are comfortably bright and comfortably furnished, including television. A most wonderful thing about Oasis is the attentiveness of the staff and providing activities that keep the residents interacting in the common area through much of the day rather than spending the day in their rooms. The activities include live music, when possible, interactive trivia, and crafts, to name a few. I love the fact that Oasis has a "Chef" so you know there is pride and quality in the preparation of meals. Family and friends are welcome to join their loved ones at meal time with brief advance notice. (non-covid times, of course). Speaking of COVID - the continuous communication from the owners to residents' families since the start of COVID clearly identifying all areas of protocol as well as their advance planning to ensure to the utmost of their ability the safety and well-being not only of the residents, their primary responsibility, but also the safety and well-being of their entire staff. If there was a medal of honor to award for outstanding response to a pandemic, The Oasis at Dodge Park and Dodge Park would get the medal of honor. A huge thank you to the owners and staff at Oasis!

The Oasis at Dodge Park was truly a special find for our mom. The facility is beautiful and the atmosphere very positive. We could not ask for better care for her. RNs, NPs, LPNs, medical director, specialty doctors, compassionate well-trained staff, and even hospice if/when needed, are there to care. What is so special is that while this exceptional level of care is provided, at same time it within a warm home-like environment. There is excellent food, and engaging activities and entertainment geared for a great blend of residents at varying stages of their lives. It is the kind of place that a loved one can move to and stay, without having to move again and again. We were also pleased that the daily rate is significantly less than skilled nursing homes in the area. Thank you Oasis, you have our family's five stars.

Mom has been at the Oasis for almost 5 years. This is her home. She is treated with respect and dignity. Everyone knows her name and addresses her accordingly. She continues to receive outstanding care from not only the caregivers but to the kitchen staff to the maintenance staff, recreation staff, laundry staff etc. One critical component of the Oasis is that the owners Micha and Ben truly have a passion for the quality of life of the residents. They are actively involved in the daily needs of the residents and make sure that everyone is involved with activities based on their ability. The cost may be more than other residential facilities, but having had Mom at other places, this is the BEST!!! I do not live in the area but I always know she is well cared for. Any surprise visits I make always reveal that she is clean, dressed appropriately and engaged in activities to the extent she can be. Bottom line is I can sleep at night knowing she is getting such great care and she is in the best place for her needs.

When you come to the realization that caring for a loved one at home is no longer an option, worry takes over. You search for the best place possible to care for one of the most important people in your life, and hope the decision you make is the right one. I met the owner at my lowest point. He was kind, patient and understanding as I explained my father's situation. He met with me and my dad on a Saturday morning. He spent hours going through how everything worked. He provided a tour of the facility, introduced me to residents' family members and suggested I speak to them about their experiences. I was so impressed- Dad moved in that Monday. The care Dad received was unparalleled. Everyone in the facility was amazing from the maintenance staff to the AD of Nursing. The staff's kindness and patience is unmatched. With such a tough disease, it takes a very special person to manage the calm, peaceful atmosphere that was always present. The physical facility was immaculate- clean, modern, laid out for the residents. Dad's room was sunny and bright and looked like a hotel room- though very little time was spent in his room. Dad was always out with the staff and other residents- even if he refused participation in activities :) , he got the mental stimulation of watching and feeling included. I cannot possibly put into words the gratitude I have for every member of the Oasis team. I knew Dad had an extended family in every wonderful aide, cook, nurse, and maintenance worker. Thank you to each and every one.

The owners and staff at The Oasis go above and beyond to keep the residents happy and safe. They have taken great measures to keep their residents healthy in a very challenging time, and are so patient and loving towards their residents.

Having experienced several nursing homes throughout Massachusetts for both parents, I can say that Oasis is far and away the best. The owners are great and the staff sets them apart from the rest. There are great indoor and outdoor facilities and activities throughout the day. The staff is not only great with the patients, but their families too. They are extra communicative, and help throughout the entire patient lifecycle, with true sincerity for the difficulty of the situation. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Oasis offers excellent personal care with knowledge, dignity and compassion. Staff members are friendly, well-trained and interactive. Communication between staff and family members is open and frequent. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, the activities are resident appropriate and family involvement is encouraged. The food is excellent and always available to visiting family members. Overall, I consider Oasis to be an excellent facility and trust them completely to provide the 24 hour care required by my Dad.

Our mother was recently placed at the Oasis facility after stay at assisted living, in metro west area. From there she end us in a connected snf memory unit. We were very upset with the care. We contacted the owner Micha Shalev who visited and screened mom and reassure us that mom will be well taken care. Mom moved into the oasis 3 weeks ago and we are very amazed on the different. The facility staff are very friendly, accommodating and supportive. WE are so amazed how well the care is organized. Mom is having a great time and enjoy all the activities at the facility.

My mother moved in the first month that Oasis opened. She had been in assisted living elsewhere which was no help to her at all. She ended up in the hospital with a UTI. Just by sheer luck, the social worker at the hospital recommended Oasis. I was skeptical at first, since the assisted living facility had been so hard on my mother's condition. But, my skepticism was proved wrong. Oasis delivers on the care 24 hours a day. Before long, my mother was smiling again and the nurses, social worker, and caregivers monitored her closely. As she needed more care, they anticipated and met the need. Throughout the entire 3 years she spent at Oasis, right up until her passing, she received excellent care. I would highly recommend Oasis at Dodge Park to any family with a loved one suffering from dementia. Like me, they would not have to worry that there loved one is being looked after 100% properly. I slept very well knowing my mother was there. The key to the excellent care is the fact that two owner operators of Oasis are right there every day. This active management and the right number of carefully selected staff members allow them to deliver on the care 100% every day, 24 hours per day. Every staff member there knew my mother and cared about her well being. Anyone with dementia would be LUCKY to be a resident at Oasis at Dodge Park!

Imagine my disbelief when I first found out that my sister had early onset Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, it became painfully apparent when she was only 55 years old. For several years we couldn’t figure out what was going on, she had restless nights, forgetfulness, memory loss, and she always wandered off, causing a panic and sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. We tried having her live with us for a while, but if you are reading this review you know that sadly, it is extremely difficult and a 24-7 commitment. We made the decision, drove around and visited and evaluated dozens of facilities. Some were very nice looking but the staff seemed unresponsive, others felt like sterilized wards, and the worst ones are the ones that have that distinctive odor about them. If you are currently looking at different places you know the smell I mean. The second we walked into the Oasis we knew that we had found a home for her. As strange as it seems, it reminded me of being on a cruise ship. There was someone playing the piano and staff and the people they serve were singing Sweet Caroline. Now that doesn’t happen all the time, but there are regularly scheduled activities at the Oasis. Some of the people served cannot move around much and don’t sing, but if you watch their feet you will probably see them tapping to the beat! The very first time we entered into the Oasis, unannounced, for a visit and evaluation we were pleasantly surprised both owners Micha and Ben were there. Micha took around for a tour asked questions about my sister and gave helpful suggestions about care facilities. He gave us a book that he has written about dementia. The most moving moment that I experienced with the Oasis was when my sister had to be hospitalized for a short period of time, at a hospital miles away from the Oasis. I walked into the hospital and imagine my surprise, I bumped into Ben one of the owners he had driven miles away just to check on and visit with my sister. I choked up. You are not going to find that attention level at any other placement… The nurses are always present and are usually within eye sight of most of the people residing there. They are friendly, experienced and supportive and they are always in contact when something changes or my sister has had a bad day. Now my sister has her favorite nurse, of course, but it would not be fair to mention her here, because all the nurses are fantastic. Oh, did I mention that they have a dental hygienist who goes to the Oasis, and a Psychiatrist, there is hairstylist, a yoga instructor and many other people. Some of the most important people in my sister’s day however are the staff. They all know her by name and always say hello. Most of them are upbeat and will probably put a smile on your face when you go to visit the Oasis. I have gone in there a little grumpy before and walked away grinning. They work hard genuinely care about the people they serve and their families.

We are so lucky there is a facility like The Oasis. The space is beautiful, the staff are wonderful. All patients are out and about in the facility and are not living in their beds. There are activities through out the day from games to entertainment. Residents participate what they can. Sing along or sit quietly and enjoy. I am forever grateful my mother in law is in their care.

Excellent! Oasis at Dodge Park provide much more care than a regular assisted living. They have RNS now. My mother is given medication that she needs. She's seen by her doctor regularly. She has Alzheimer's. Also, a geriatric psychiatrist comes down on a regular basis. They're good on medication, so she's up every day, she's bathed, she's well-dressed she gets 3 meals a day. I have been there, and sometimes I'm always there when there's a meal. I had the meal myself and it's delicious. It's owned by two private owner/operators that are right there on staff every day. I looked at dozens of assisted living and other care facilities. It just happened they owned one across the street that's called Dodge Park Rest Home, and it was just opening exactly a year ago. My mother was one of the first to move in. It's a beautiful facility. Compare to the place that she was before, this home is better. Her symptoms are constantly changing and they're monitoring and changing the medication. She's incontinent at this moment, but they still managed to keep her well-dressed and make sure she's changed within at least an hour. I'm very impressed. I am extremely fortunate to have found it. The two owners make an effort to know all of the residents and their families. They go out of their way to make sure that any concerns are taken care of right away.

My mother has dementia and it was just getting worse and worse that we couldn't care for her at home. I heard about Dodge Park advertised on the radio and I wanted to see what it was about. When we came and visit, that affected me and my sister because it looked like it's everything that we wanted for her. I think it's incredible there. I can't imagine that any facility similar to this is going to treat residents better than they do. If we had any concerns (which we haven't really) you speak with them and it's done right away. Honestly, I don't know what I could really say bad about them. I see the owners every time I go, which I go quite frequently as much as my sister but she's there a lot also. The owners are always checking on things and making sure things go right. The nursing are fantastic and friendly too. They're always trying to keep the residents busy and active as they can. They have all kinds of activities that they do with the residents. I never t thought I'd see my mother participating but they got her to participate. We heard a lot of nightmares about places and we were very hesitant to place mom anywhere. She's very independent; she's a nurse manager for 40y ears. She has dementia but she still has presence of mind at the time. I work at a hospital and I see a lot of care, the amount of time and patience that they give to the resident is awesome. In addition, the food is really good. We've done Christmas, Thanksgiving and we just did Easter. Even last minute I show up, say I want to have breakfast with mom or some days that I show up into the service and if I am hungry and wanted to eat anything, they're quick and they'd give me whatever I want from the service. They never don't ask from a full meal to a casual meal. They always ask or it's always offered. Her room is big and beautiful. Sometimes, I get there early in the morning and everything is neat. Shortly after she's out of bed, the bed is made, the trash is emptied and sinks from the counter is clean. There's also a big, shared bathroom. The sink there is always clean, it never smelled. That is the other thing I'm worrying about because I know a couple of people who has been in nursing homes. One thing that I've noticed in a lot of nursing homes is the strong urine smell. Here, never. It never ever smelled anything even when she started across the street in the older building with a lot more people in the smaller area or when we moved her over to the new building when they were taking new residents. Moreover, the other thing that me and my sister really like is the way they monitor with the chairs and the beds. She's very independent and she likes to do things on her own so if she tries to get up, it'll alert them right away so there are no worries. It's just fabulous.
