My friend's a resident of Stafford Hill. The area I visited was more of an Alzheimer's area because you didn't get down there and they'd have to buzz you in. The staff were very attentive to the residents and caring. They have a nice dining area, but I didn't sample the food. One time I went in there and they were bowling, more or less a different type, but they were bowling. So, they do offer some things to them. The facility is very nice. The place seems nice to me, and the people are nice. I don't know if they allow pets for the people, but I know pets have come in with visitors.

One of the first places we went to for my mother was Stafford Hill. It was completely beautiful, the whole thing, the staff was lovely, and the facilities were lovely. It's just that the cost impact was a couple of thousand dollars more than at the other place, and that equates to extra months if we run out of money. The staff loved what they were doing. They loved where they were. If I could have moved there, I would have. I did like that they had a doctor that came in, their own physician, and a couple of times a week that you could make appointments for. They had transportation, it seemed like they had a lot of outings outside the facility, and a lot of group things where the memory care would join the assisted living residents for gatherings and music.
