My mother is in Sunrise at Gardner Park. The thing I liked least about it was the lack of communication. The people that take care of my mom are very nice and compassionate. The facility is clean and well taken care of. They keep my mom's room very clean. They have a beauty salon and a nice courtyard. They do have transportation. They take them out for like ice cream and to the beach. They keep them busy. They have activities like exercise and bingo.

My uncle has moved into the Sunrise at Gardner Park. They're very nice. All the people are very professional and nice. It is a lovely place. Because of COVID, they weren't allowing any family members to visit. Since he has been there, I have not been inside, but I'm sure it is just as lovely as it was a couple of years ago when I visited my aunt in that community. They're very good with communications. So far, so good. My uncle plays bingo; he likes that. They have started eating in shifts in the dining room. Everybody has their own table. They are out in one big room, but in shifts. From what I'm being told, it seems like they are interested in engaging people that are working with the patients. The fact that they're trying to get them out in shifts into the main dining room is good. They're moving in the right direction in the community. The outside grounds are lovely. They keep them beautiful. All the patients like getting outside and going on walks with their caregivers.
