Benchmark Senior Living at Haverhill Crossings was very nice. The advantage of that place was that it's all on one single floor for memory care. Their staff was very friendly. They all smiled and the residents that we saw were very, very friendly to us. We just peeked into some occupied rooms. It was a double room with a shared area. We saw the dining room and the common areas, like the recreation room or day room, and all were very nice and clean.

My father was at Benchmark Senior Living at Haverhill Crossings and I wouldn't recommend it to somebody deep in dementia. They are more talk than action. My father had a delivery of VA medications, and they lost them. We kept them updated with everything that we were sending for his needs and they weren't reciprocating, saying that they got the stuff. They didn't put any of his clothing away or help him hang any of his clothing. His room was pretty much in a disarray. They didn't help him with cleaning his room very much. It was kind of a mess. He was in memory care. They need to learn more about the disease of dementia itself and how to handle that with their staff because I don't think they know what they're doing.
