My brother is staying at Holly Court Memory Care, and we have decided on that place because it was $1500-to-$2000 cheaper than the rest of the places. I also had friends and another family member who have their family there, and they really raved about it. The staff is very nice. Everybody looked very happy and they're very attentive. My brother loves the food, and they've been giving him double portions since they say he can eat. The facility is clean. You can't smell any urine or Clorox. It just smells like a house, and the whole place really smells good, even the memory care section. The building looks very pretty and very classy, and they keep it up very nicely. The yard is pretty too. He's in the memory care, and I know that they provide him with snacks and hydration. They make ice cream and they're always in the room watching TV together, so they always make sure that he's active. All these things are geared for COVID restrictions, so the other activities have not started coming back. But they usually take them on a ride in a van, take them to Walmart, and that kind of stuff.
