My mother-in-law started out in the assisted living side of Garden View Assisted Living - Baton Rouge, and now she's in the memory care. They have a very positive attitude. If anything happens to her or if they have any kind of concerns regarding her medication, they always call right away. If we need any kind of help or information from the doctor, they just seem to be Johnny-on-the-spot with it. The staff members are just very caring. They don't treat them like residents, they treat them like friends. The price is good, too.
Everything always seems to be clean and wiped down. There's no smell or anything like that. It's also a new building, so there's plenty of room in the dining area. Everybody can eat at once. They have an activity every day, whether it's bingo, bowling, volleyball, or just storytelling or singing.
