My wife is a resident of Rosegate. They have more staff there than the other place she was in. She gets a little more supervision than she was getting at the other place. Of course, no place can be there 100 percent of the time, but they're there more often and look after her. They have more clinicians in the place that she was in.
The room is okay. It's two people to a room, but it's not bad. They keep it clean. The food is way better than where she was. It's a more balanced-type meal and nutritional; not the kind of garbage that she's getting at the other place.
The dining area is spacious and nice, not stacked on one another. It is large enough that there's space for everybody to move around. They do different programs like games and different things. They have music from different eras, movies, and movie themes from different days.
The staff is excellent. They keep me informed or aware. If something happens and I'm not there, they'll call me and update me like on the changes in medicine and different things. So, I'm pleased.
One of the things that swayed me is that they have everything she will need down the line as her health changes. They have extended care, a hospice unit, as well as memory care, so it makes it easier for the family and her, if her health changes. There's no big change for her to transition from one to the other.
