Our beautiful community in Nampa, Idaho offers a variety of floor plans and even a memory care option to meet your needs. Exercise classes, crafts, movies, games, musical programs and weekly outings provide occasions for residents to get the most from our community. I had an in-person tour of Streamside Assisted Living. They were not prepared for us to be there. I got a tour from one of their employees and not from one of their administrators. The staff who gave me a tour was pleasant, but she didn't have the knowledge of what I needed. They should water their garden because their little garden areas were dead. There was bird poop all over the place. The place looked unkept. The furniture was old and rundown. I was told that they were doing a remodel, but that had not been done yet.

We toured Streamside Assisted Living & Memory Care. They seemed to be a caring group. It's not just the buck they're after. They really seemed to care about their residents. They have knowledgeable staff. We met with their director. They were very helpful. They suggested we contact other services besides them, so that we could get a better idea of what's involved. We saw all of the rooms. We saw large rooms and small rooms, and we saw the other wing where they have patients that have Alzheimer's and dementia and so on. We saw both areas. They're undergoing a current million dollar renovation, and that includes painting the rooms and re-carpeting. They were playing bingo at the time. They have a room where you could have a private meeting with family and so on to watch a movie or whatever. They have a patio. Several rooms face the patio, so they have access that way. There's a garden area as well so you can do some gardening, planting flowers, that sort of thing.
