About This Community
Rome, Georgia is in the northwestern corner of the state and is the largest city in Floyd County. It is the home of Berry College, the largest land grant university with a gorgeous campus, as well as Darlington School and Shorter University. The Rome Braves, a Class A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, are another great attraction in this small town. In the off season, you can also visit Rome’s many local historical museums. Rome also has a wealth of locations on the National Registry of Historic Places, including the Etowah Indian Mounds, the Rome Clock Tower built in 1871, and the Chieftains Museum, the home of Major Ridge built in 1792.

My mother Mrs. Tillie just passed away. She had been at the Gardens of Rome for 5 months. My mom had issues with her memory, but she loved her room and the sweet ladies that cared for her. Her room was always clean and whenever we ask anyone for help, they were there to do whatever they could to make her stay pleasant. The staffed loved on her and did extra to try to help when she began the process of going home to be with her Lord and Savior. Very happy with the Gardens of Rome and the wonderful, sweet care givers.
