I like Brighton Gardens of Buckhead. I like that it was all on one level and that it was bright and cheerful. I like the tenure of the staff and the residents; they've all been there a good while, which makes it feel homier. I like that they have a lot of activities and a lot of plans. I like that they have a house pet because it's wonderful for seniors. I like that they had well-planned thoughts and ideas for their memory care unit; that's a big deal for me, since that's what I'm looking for. Even though the memory care is separate, they still have a garden, and they still let them get out and go for a walk with a chaperone. So they have lots of opportunities for those in memory care, as well. I didn't get to interact with too many of the staff because they are still being cautious with keeping us separated. I got to see the facility, but I was kind of separated from everybody.
