About This Community

At The Pearl at Dallas, we have a commitment to the residents, their families, and to the larger community of Paulding County. We built Westminster Memory Care because we believe that our community should have a place where the special needs of those with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia are exclusively met.

We designed The Pearl at Dallas to be aesthetically pleasing to residents, their visiting friends, and family members, as well as our staff. We did everything we could to make this an enjoyable place to live, work, and visit for everyone.

But lovely as it is, The Pearl at Dallas wasn’t just designed with aesthetics in mind. It’s been created with the particular security and activity needs of those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

We also take care to provide nutritious and inviting meals in our tastefully appointed dining room. We assess each resident’s dietary needs and functional eating capabilities so we can provide good, healthy dining experiences. Permanent table seating enhances socialization. Prompt service, with meals served on attractive plates and service ware, further enhance the dining experience.

Great place to leave a loved one to die. Loved one has been left in a soiled, urinated diaper all day on many occasions and has led to a specific instance of an emergency room visit due to the infection (a result of negligence in care). Horrible care, inexperienced, rude, and very lazy. If your loved one doesn't need any care, you will be good here. Any type of consistent, quality care is not to be found here. The food is not nutritious at all...

The Pearl at Dallas seems a lot more welcoming and more like a community. They make sure that there are a lot of social events going on so that the people have something to do all the time. When you walk in, you are greeted happily. Even the nursing staff looked happy to be there. The rooms were nice, spacious, and clean. They showed me a dining room where you can go in and sit down with your family. You just reserve it. They also have a salon that I thought was pretty cool, so people go once a week, and they can even get their nails done. It looks like they have a picnic garden area. They had activities outside as well, like cornhole. The courtyard was set up for people to be able to go outside and play.

Everything about The Pearl at Dallas was a 5. The only reason we didn't go there is because of the distance from my home and costs. It was top notch and strictly memory care. Everything was very new, very clean, and very state-of-the-art. It's really pretty. The staff members we met were very friendly. They had a great activities calendar with weekly outings and a lot of cookouts. Their activities director must be really good.

Westminster is a new, clean community, so we are very pleased. They have very caring staff, something going on for the residents every day, and an open garden that my husband can walk around in.
