My mother has moved into Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek. I like how nice the staff was. They are taking care of the patients, making them feel at home, having little arts and crafts to keep them busy. The only problem I have had with them is communication. That's the only problem I've had. The staff is very nice and caring. They're doing a real hands-on with her. I haven't tried the food, but it looked very presentable. The place is very clean and very nice. In other places I've seen, there was a urine smell, but this is very clean. No smell. It looked very good. The staff sits down in small groups and does cards and arts and crafts. I know they have coloring and stuff. They have a little fenced-in area where people can go out into.

I found Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek very beautiful. It seemed like the residents were very happy. I checked out the memory care and it was clean, and I liked the outside area where they could walk around and do different things. The staff I met was very, very caring. She's talked about how they had nurses on staff, doctors, and different things that they had.

I went to tour Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek yesterday. The staff was very professional. Her first name is Tracy and she's just very personable, very understanding, and caring. I got a good feeling about the facility. I was very impressed with the facility. It was smaller, had no smell, and to me, more personable. I think they have more to offer for memory there. My daughter and I went on the tour and at the time they were given lunch and it smelled delicious. Tracy walked us outside to an enclosed patio and that was very delightful for me to see because I think people that are in this situation, need outside stimulation. I saw that to be right there. I was very impressed with that setup because I think people still need to be outside in some form or fashion and they also need some type of stimulation. What she shared with me is that with residents that are not totally at a certain level, they let them interact in the common area at different times, which I was very impressed with. If I had the choice or if I could do it today, I would do it. This one is higher in cost but the level of service, I think I would be much, much better.

We chose Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek for my dad. He's been there a week. Initially, I liked the appearance. It was bright, clean, and modern. The price was reasonable. It was better than some of the other ones that I had checked, and people were very nice. They are taking good care of him, but he's spending a lot of time in his room. They're not really engaging him the way I would like. I would like for them to try to get him out of his room. He said the food is pretty good. I've seen them doing exercise with little weights. They have like bingo and stuff with assisted living, once he gets more acclimated and not as a local risk.

We looked at Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek. The tour was really nice. The young lady who was the manager on duty was very informative and very nice. We saw a lot of interactions between her and the patients, and how lovingly she handled them. She was nurturing. My sister even told her that we could tell she was a Mom because she noticed everything about the patients and she responded to them. The patients were pleased and smiling when they interacted with her too. We enjoyed touring the facility. We saw every part of it, including the outdoor spaces. My father is a dementia patient, so we went into the lot area for the memory care patients. That was good because we saw people back there engaging with the staff. Our hesitation was the companion rooms/the shared rooms. That didn't go well with us because my father is not a person man. He was living alone up until he had to move in with me, but he's more of a private person so I talked to Tracy, the manager there, that we would definitely be looking for a private room for him because he just wouldn't be happy in a shared room. We went at the time when the patients were eating and the food smelled good. We didn't actually go in the dining room, we didn't disturb them eating, but we peeked in to see the interaction there. It was fine. The facility was nice and clean. The employees there were friendly to us. We just have some reservations about certain things in correlation with my father, but the facility was fine. The employees were very friendly and informative. It was clean and it smelled good. We liked the music that they were playing for the residents. We didn't have any problem with it at all. We didn't see anything that could be a risk for the residents, and we appreciated all the safety measures in the memory care area.

I visited Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek and my overall experience was great. The staff was great. They just have very small living accommodations. The shared rooms were very, very small and they have a shared closet. They didn't even have a personal closet. The other facilities and the common areas were great, only the personal rooms were not good. It's also on a private road. It's not very crowded and there are lots of green spaces. That's one of the better locations for me. I saw their great room and their hair salon.

My mother moved into Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek. We have had a wonderful experience so far, the facilities are OK, they seem on point, they're very careful about letting anybody in, and they sanitize you. They have laundry, janitorial services, meals, and a couple of activities for memory care. I would like to see them doing physical therapy, and getting them to move, but it's hard to tell if you're not in there every day. The inside is a five, but the outside needs a little maintenance, or maybe a clean up.
