My first thought was to find something very close to me, and Ashbrook Village is 8 minutes from house. At first, I wasn't impressed when I first entered. As the staff took me further back, I was very impressed because they use all the space. Instead of using it to make a grand entrance, they put it to the residents for their living space; I like that. It was very impressive for the residents. I also like that they have their own bathrooms. I liked the staff a lot because I saw him interact with some of the residents. Even though we were in memory care, the residents knew him. He was very comforting to them; that stood out to me. They offer three meals a day with snacks. They have a very big dining area.
