In general, Arbor Terrace of Decatur was a little depressing. The walls were gray and dark gray and the hallways were very dim and dark. They're probably a health hazard because you can't see in there very well. The staff during the tour was good enough. I was impressed with the rooms. They were more spacious than the other place I looked at. It was nice and it had a kitchenette, but the bathroom was a bit small. This place was older and there seemed to be quite a few maintenance issues. They gave me a scone that was baked at the facility, and I thought it was quite good. The dining area seemed more cafeteria-like. They have music and a pianist that comes in once a week and a harpist on another day a week. Their outdoor space was a bit small and it wasn't very uplifting. The food menu seemed pretty good just by looking at it.
