I visited Oaks at Towne Lake. I took a tour. The lady was really, really nice, no doubt about it, but it doesn't fit what I need, and the reason is I was looking for a place where I could be with my wife because she's got dementia really bad, and if I'm not around it's disaster. My caregivers have problems all the time, but the biggest issue is they're guidelines, and I'm sure it's because of coronavirus. It's a nice, clean, and beautiful place. I grew up there. My business was about a mile and a half from that location, so I know a lot of people in that area. But the bottom line, the rule is if I move in with my wife, she's OK, but I can only leave to go to a doctor and come back again to that location. I can't do anything else, so in other words I'm trapped. The second part was if she moves in alone and I don't move in, I have to call one hour before and then I can only visit for 20 minutes; that ain't gonna work. It's nice. It's a great place, and only three years old, so it's very, very nice. We had a little contact, as little contact with people that lived there as possible because of the coronavirus. If it wasn't for the rules, it's an easy five no problem at all, but I can't accept what they want, and I understand their dilemma, but it's not for me, 'cause I am not gonna see my wife only 20 minutes a day, and if I move in there I can't go out. The only time I can go out is if I take her to the doctor, but I have to come back immediately after that doctor visit or they'll take him, so that's the only problem, and it's not a facility problem, it's a rules problem they had to put together for coronavirus. They are very, very, very tight on that rule. I talked to another one yesterday and they allow you to go away for eight hours, and I can live there with my wife. I have to check when I come back in for temperature, they have face mask worn all the time, which is fine. I understand that's more livable.
