Greenwood Place, our senior living community in Marietta, GA, provides quality care for all its residents. The staff at Greenwood Place seemed very personable and responsive to the residents. They seemed to care about the situation my mother and I are in. The facility was very clean for the most part. Looking at one of the rooms, the initial feeling I had was it's a little small, but seeing how other residents use their spaces, you can see a nice, decent quality for a memory care setup. Derek was my main contact, but I also met Ginger and one other person.
It was nice to know that the memory care was all-inclusive and the fact that the staff would be there to help mom stay on schedule if she stays there. They would come see her, bring her out daily, and make sure she was taking her meds, and have her dietary control. They also have musicians that would come and play and they would have occasional parties where families come and spend time with their loved ones.

I chose Greenwood Place for my mom because of their price, their reviews, and the way they open arms, sat down, and talked to me when I first went into the place. The whole staff came in and talked to me. My mom has moved into their memory care. The place has a 100% health rating for its food. The food smells good; you would want to eat there. They're constantly getting her out of bed, getting her dressed, and treat her like a human, and just being kind to her. The facility is a 5 for security, protocol, and cleanliness. They do memory games with them and some type of physical therapy to keep them moving. They just keep them out of the bed, and they never let them be alone. As for the value for the money, in other places, they want to do levels, and the levels can go from $3000 to $7000 a month, but this place is all-inclusive one price.
