My mom is a resident of The Landings at Norcross. It's okay, and like most assisted living, it has a memory section. It has a section where people who can do for themselves live on one side. It's a key entry into the memory care section. Because of COVID, there's been quite a few staff changes, and their contractors, a lot. It's hard to get staff, but I think they're getting better now and going back to work. The staff is really good. It's a nice building, and the residents have their own apartments. They have activities, bingo, and exercise class. The ministers come in on Sunday. They have musicians that come in sometimes, and they have different things for the different holidays.

This review is well over due. The love and care received when my dad was transitioning out of this world was outstanding. My dad had lived in multiple assisted living communities before making his last stop at the Landings at Norcross. First I want to speak about each person at this community . The Executive Director has always been wonderful with my family and did everything possible in his last days. The Sales director Coty even was hands on with my dad on multiple occasions stepping outside of her sales box to make my family feel loved. The food at this community was cooked with love as I was offered meals there while watching my dad make this transition . The nurse was very informative on the best things to make my dad comfortable. The Housekeepers kept up with dads room an kept it clean . The CNAs and Med Techs showed care and love to my dad and bathed and showed and fed him when he could not. Joy has been at this community for years and have always loved my dad and Sabrina is the best activities person ever. I have been very worried about entering nursing communities at this time due to COVID-19 But I was not scared due to the cleanliness of the community. I honestly will miss all these people at this community and they will always have a place in my heart. Cant wait to we can volunteer because I will be there. Thank you The Landings at Norcross

This place is beautiful. It was clean and smelled nice upon entering . I was greeted by everyone I passed by. Cody the sales lady was awesome and showed me everything they have to offer . When I walked to the memory care side the activities lady was so nice and you can tell she Ives what she does . I met the Nurse there and didn’t even know she was a nurse because she was helping residents hands on and she seemed to passionate I thought she was a caregiver the way she was helping out . The ED Jacky was sweet to she came in and talked to me and gave me more detailed information on the community . Great place and I will be moving my family into this community

This is a very special place. The staff is caring to our whole family. The food is excellent. Everyone there goes the extra mile. The nurse actually personally brought a prescription to the store for my mom because she knew I was at work and she wanted her to have it. I always feel welcome when I visit (which is often), and am always impressed. This is a rare gem and anyone would be fortunate to be there or have a loved one living there.

Peregrine’s staff is very caring to my brother who has Alzheimer’s. They have been able to adapt to his needs and concerns from us, very open to suggestions, and very caring. I have been very pleased. It’s very homey and feels very comfortable. His bedroom has a single bed, which is great for him, and it's very clean and accommodating. They have farm animals there and property outside, which is great. He is not very social due to his illness, but they interact with him the best they can and do a great job protecting him, watching out for him, and trying to interact with him.

Peregrine’s Landing is a memory facility only. I is very secure. It’s very pretty and just recently been remodeled. The staff is very caring. Almost everybody there has memory problems, so they have their unique set of challenges. They have a lot of activities, and the food is good. It’s a great place. They have outings, where they take the residents on a bus to different places. They take them out to eat or to church. Remember, these are dementia patients, and most facilities don’t do that. They have a spiritual program, and they’re the only facility that I ever heard of that has a chaplain. And they have animals. Onsite they have a place that there are some chickens that the residents can go about the yard and see. They also have a little pot-bellied pig named Elvis. They have a dog that they just brought in; he's a Jack Russell terrier, and he lives there. They have an aviary with birds. It’s very tactile, and they cater specifically to those with memory deficits. They do so much, it’s crazy. One pet in the house, Elvis, is outside in his little gated area, and the chickens are in another spot. I hear maybe they’re trying to get a sheep or a goat or something, so the residents can go out and look out the animals. Most of these folks that are older in Georgia relate to the pets because they were country folks.

My husband is at Peregrine's Landing at Holcomb Bridge. There are a few young ladies that are very good. As far as I can see, they are taking good care of him. I have tasted their food, and it is OK. The room is immaculate. They have bingo, and a basketball kind of game which he likes. They take them on bus rides. They also have live entertainment, and they take them to church on Sundays. It is very secure. There is a gate from the parking lot that you have to get into, and then you have to get in the front door.

We have been here at Peregrine's just a little over a year. We have a good staff that is very helpful to us if we need anything. The management is very nice. We are going to have an on-site eye doctor and nurse. They have quite a few different activities. We don't participate in a lot of them, but they do have bingo and exercise. Food comes with the rent. We don't have a meal plan, but they give you a menu for main course and alternate, so you have a choice. We are in one of their larger apartments. We have a separate bedroom, a small living area, and a kitchenette. Right now, Peregrine is undergoing a big remodeling, and we live in the new part. They are remodeling all the old parts. Peregrine has a very nice dining room, but they are going to put in another dining room. The whole place is changing from being just assisted living to being memory care. So the memory care area is being redone, and they will have a separate dining room.
