Our mission is to provide the finest quality care individualized for our residents by providing the appropriate level of support. We strive to meet each of our resident's uniques physical, mental and emotional needs. At Ridge Manor, we foster and support independence for each resident, interact with everyone in a dignified and respectful way and involve the family in care decisions.

All our staff are certified in CPR and First Aid. Yearly training programs include special Dementia/Alzheimer care with focus on common behaviors, communication techniques, care approached for activities of daily living, problem solving methods, and assessments of residents' needs.

Ridge Manor Personal Care Home is nurse managed and provides care to seniors in a home-like environment. We provide activities that help engage our residents holistically physicallly, emotionally and mentally. We cater to assisted living, and memory care. Our warm and caring staff provide compassionate care prioritizing safety, comfort and dignity. We look forward to giving you a tour of our warm and inviting home.

Emergency Call Bell System (Alerts Caregivers 24/7 with the press of a button)
24/7 Security Cameras (Both indoor and outdoor - Management Monitored Daily)
Daily Management Facility Audits (The management checks the facility daily to ensure all care/needs are being met)
Daily Activities (Individualized to our resident's preferences and include activities such as: Gardening, Games, -Puzzles, Arts & Crafts, Movies, Trivia etc) - Daily Exercises (Chair Yoga, Dancing, Resistance Bands, Light Weight -Training, Stationary Bicycle etc)
Music Therapy (We play different songs the residents are familiar with and enjoy. We periodically have a performer come in to entertain our residents)
Pet Therapy (A certified pet therapist visits our residents monthly)
Aroma Therapy (A diffuser is used to disperse different essential oils in the air such as jasmine, lavender, rose etc)
Planned outings (Caregivers and Family accompany our residents on trips such as restaurants, movies, parks, shopping etc)
Mobile Services (Visit the facility routinely: Nurse Practitioner, Dentist, Nail Tech, and Hair Stylist)
Customized Menus (Menus are customized to what our residents enjoy to eat)

My mother was a resident at Ridge Manor. I can't begin to express my gratitude to the staff for their loving care. From making her favorite meal easing her arrival to providing a warm and loving presence during her last days. Mom enjoyed the wonderful home cooked meals, the stimulating activities and beautiful surroundings. Her caregivers became her new best friends. Not only was the staff respectful of my mother but of me. I was consistently informed of any issues that arose and was warmly welcomed whenever I visited.

My prayers were answered when we found Ridge Manor for my mom with dementia. My dad and I looked at numerous memory care facilities in Canton, but none could compare to the love and attention she receives at Ridge Manor. The ratio is 1:6 twenty four hours per day. Most of the other facilities we looked at were 1:8 during the day and 1:10 or 16 at night. My mother is a big fall risk and needed much more attention than the larger facilities could offer. She has a mat next to her bed which chimes so that they know when she gets up. The caregivers at Ridge Manor have completely spoiled my mother. They know her favorite foods and drinks and they offer them routinely. They do not get upset when she is agitated and know exactly how to calm her down. They call me if mom doesn’t eat a meal, if she didn’t sleep well, or if she shows any signs of not feeling well. I’m a nurse by trade and I completely trust Jason and the caregivers with the care of my beloved mom.

My mother has been living at Ridge Manor for over a year now and our family couldn't be happier. Mom is well cared for and the staff is caring, responsive and friendly. I most appreciate that the home is in a regular house, in a residential neighborhood, with a lovely view and private wooded area.

I've been amazed at how much happier my father is at Ridge Manor. He is in late stages of Alzheimers and was very depressed prior to arriving there. The staff and owners have been phenomenal. He enjoys listening to Frank Sinatra and play it for him regularly. His favorite meal is fried chicken with gravy and they added it to the menu when he arrived. The management is very responsive and provide updates regularly. If you have a loved one that needs memory care Ridge Manor is a great option that I would recommend.

I am so glad we found Ridge Manor. My mother was previously in a larger community that was owned by a big company. It focused more on fine dining and movie theaters. Only shortly after my mom fell and fractured her hip we realized that she needed much more care that they could not provide. Ridge Manor had much better oversight with their 1:6 caregiver to resident ratio and personalized the care by doing activities and cooking foods that my mother enjoys. The owners are hands on and frequently visit the facility. This is definitely one of the best decisions I have made.
