The independent and assisted living side is okay however, the memory care side is greatly lacking. The room sizes are adequate on both sides but the staff in the memory care are lazy and medicate all residents. They do not give them much to drink daily so they don't have to deal with "accidents". A lot of the residents are getting dehydrated. The staff does not keep you informed and when they do, it is incorrect information. There are very little activities. I had to move my mother after calling an ambulance. She was in ICU for 5 days and a regular room for 1 1/2 weeks. This was in June 2020.

We moved my father into Silver Creek last June and he has been happy there for the most part. Unfortunately, their current policies allow for residents suffering dementia to be allowed unrestricted access to alcohol, a very high risk when combined with dementia and blood pressure medications. I remain hopeful that Silver Creek management takes notice of this practice and works to create a safer environment for all of its residents and will update my review at that time.

Silver Creek had two sizes for rooms. Their smaller room was the same price as what my dad has now, which was a lot smaller, and their bigger room, which was the same size as my dad's room, was about $1,000 a month more. The staff was good, but it got a little confusing at the end. First they told us that it's not good to move people in on a Friday or Monday, and then when they found out that the hurricane wasn't going to hit, so they told us to move in. The place was nice but they were wishy-washy, didn't know what to do, and were confusing, so we put my father-in-law somewhere else. The sales team wasn't so good but the staff who took care of the patients was really good.
