I liked Brookdale Jensen Beach. It seemed to fit our needs. There's this lady that was tremendously nice. She knew everything that was going on all around her all the time. It looked like she was very informed on what's going on, and she had everything under control as far as taking care of the residents and giving us the tour at the same time. I was very pleased with how she handled everything. Everything looked maintained, and it had a pleasant living atmosphere. They had a library and a room where they helped the residents with their memory. They had physical programs and it looked like they had a memory type exercise on a big TV.

We have toured Brookdale Jensen Beach. We like that they are very caring. They offer wonderful activities for seniors. They had a wonderful meal for the individuals. We were there at lunchtime, and they showed two actual plates that they offered. We didn't eat anything, but it looked very appetizing.
We saw a shared living room. There are three individuals in a group room. It was kind of crowded, so I didn't like that room. But then we also saw the single studio, and that was very nice. Their physical therapy room was very nice. They explained that their PT individual has been there for quite a while now, so she knows the equipment and how to work with people. The facilities were very well maintained and they were doing renovations like new paint and cleaning up. It's going to be beautiful when they're done.

I found Brookdale Jensen Beach for my mother. She just went in today, so far, so good. It's very clean, very pretty, decorated very nicely, and spotless. The staff members are all upfront, one of the ladies called me because tonight is mom's first night, she called me to tell me that she's doing great, and so I could ease my mind. So she went a step above. They have plenty of activities, they do cooking, make puzzles and the normal activities. I saw moms in memory, so the activities are in one game room. The rooms are very nice, good size. She's in a room where she shares it with another lady, and it seems very nice. It's got big closets, a nice size bathroom, and a nice view. The community is very nice. The price was right. I found it to be less expensive than a lot of the places I was looking at, and the staff seemed wonderful, very helpful. I'm very pleased so far.

We did not care for the memory care unit at Brookdale Jensen Beach. They said they were going to start renovations of it, but my daughter and I said that it was just too dark, and too dreary. The person during the tour was a lovely lady. I went there a couple of times because their price was right, but it just was not suitable for my husband. It was not very nicely done. When we were there at the memory care, there were quite a few people in wheelchairs just sitting there. Sometimes, the staff was interacting with them, but it was just depressing. The assisted living part was very nice, but the memory care was not. They needed to renovate it.

My mother moved into Brookdale Jensen Beach. It's wonderful, and everything is absolutely perfect. With the activities, the food, and the way my mother is being treated, I couldn't ask for anything better. It's perfect. The staff is wonderful. The dining area have little tables that sit four with napkins put out for them. The food is very balanced, and there's a lot of it. They have exercise, trivia, they go to lunch, and after lunch they go for bus rides or they play bingo. At 8:00 p.m., they have a movie, so they're full of activities. They have a separate dining room/restaurant where you can take your memory care resident and order from the waitresses and waiters.
