This WAS a great place for my grandpa for years. The staff was excellent and so good to him. He passed from Covid 3 days ago. From what I understand the virus is all over the entire facility. It’s so sad.

My parent was at this facility for memory care and finally was moved because of on going issues in this facility. The facility was beautiful and assisted living may be fine and independent, But memory care was horrible. This place smells horrible, parent was found in urine wet clothing, bedding was often found dirty (urine and feces), washed clothing still smelled like urine, floors around chair nasty (when moved out found bugs) bathroom smelled, often saw other residents worst off left alone in community area (one poor gentleman had urinated so bad there was a puddle on the floor under his wheel chair), we had to ask often about bathing, my parent ended up with periodontal disease because their teeth was never brushed, tract infections, and so. The help (med techs) there has minimal training that could not handle with certain situations. Like trying to entice the resident out for socialization. They say no and that was it. What help there is, isn't enough. If you call the memory section 90% of the time you have to leave a message on their voice mail which is not returned. The director has been spoken to on several occasions and he promised to improve the care over there. It did not work because we continued to have issues. For the amount you pay for service rendered, you do not receive it! The 3 star that was only given was due to the fact that most of the help were very nice.
