About This Community

Noble Senior Living at Pensacola is an assisted living and memory care community centrally located in Pensacola, Florida. Our community has beautiful courtyards that give it the feel of country living in a convenient, urban setting. Our community is set on Mobile Highway close to three area hospitals and physicians’ offices.

When you first visit Pensacola, you’ll notice our large common areas, which are places to gather with new friends, share experiences, or just relax and read a book. Our warm and friendly staff is here 24/7 as a helping hand when you need it.

At Noble, our focus is supporting our residents’ independence and overall wellness.

The care that each resident receives at Lamplight Inn is unique to his or her needs. Each resident’s activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene, are assessed upon move-in and regularly throughout their stay. We work with the resident, family members, and health practitioners to create the right plan of care for each person.

Care-related services include, but are not limited to:

  • Care staff, including a licensed nurse, at facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Memory Care

The Along the Journey program was created for our seniors with memory impairments. It helps develop strong relationships between families and caregivers. A successful transition involves supporting each resident in their new environment and being a resource for the family.

At Noble, we use activities to help reduce residents’ agitation, improve their moods, and encourage social interaction. Popular activities include morning coffee (hydration) and news, listening to music, spiritual programs, ice cream socials, reminiscing, trivia, and puzzles. One-on-one sensory activities may also be used to help residents relax and have a good night’s rest.

Goals of Along the Journey:

  • Create a safe and comfortable environment for residents
  • Offer consistent, well-trained caregivers specific to dementia care
  • Provide care based on residents’ abilities and needs, with respect to the individual’s culture and preferences
  • Achieve the highest quality of life possible for residents through cueing and assistance
  • Be a resource and provide support to families, staff, and other residents

I understand Noble Senior Living at Pensacola just took possession of this place, new ownership, in August of last year. I won't say that it was bad. It just needed some upgrading. They showed us both assisted living and memory care. The person who showed me around seemed like he had a lot on his plate. He was the director of different facilities, which concerns me. He's got several degrees and his staff has several degrees, but that doesn't mean nothing if you're not there to put them into use. It seemed like he might have gotten himself spread a little bit too thin to be able to concentrate on running this particular facility because he's got others to run as well. They had a courtyard, but it did not look safe to me. It did not look like they would want them to go out there because it wasn't kept up. It was there, but it was not usable. There were no amenities in the rooms. Everybody was in shared rooms, with memory care patients, I kind of question, and that setup kind of concerned me.

It wasn't too good. I didn't care for it. First off it smelled like an old hotel when you go in there, and I didn't like that, and I didn't like the way the residents were situated. It's an older building and the way it was set up wasn't so good. The person who gave the tour did an OK job. Their units were more like hospital rooms.
