Residents live in comfortable apartments with friends just steps away, and enjoy activities and events. Our Activities Coordinator makes sure there is something engaging for everyone. Whether relaxing in your cozy studio, meeting friends for coffee by the pool, or practicing your short game on the putting green, we offer many choices.

In addition, residents receive complimentary transportation to and from medical appointments, shopping, banking, and other errands. Third-party care providers such as podiatrist, dentists, and optometrists visit our community regularly.

Grand Villa of DeLand is extremely homey, very cozy, and the staff is extremely friendly and professional. The place is very clean and very neat too. If you notice anything and you make a comment, they immediately take care of it and anything right away. My father moved in on the 14th, then my mom moved in the following Monday, and I was there for their meals. She had quiche, while he had turkey and mashed potatoes, and it looked amazing. My mom ate it and said that it's really good. She has a lot of stomach problems, but ever since she moved in there, she doesn't have any more stomach pain. They are both in the memory care section and they get my father from his room and try to entice him to come out and get to know the other people in there. They engage them and they have activities that are suited to their needs. I've seen other places that were way more expensive with less care, but the people in Grand Villa of DeLand are very empathetic.

The staff was so friendly and caring. The food was delicious. I left feeling at peace with my decision. The residents I saw were clean, happy, and having a good time at the birthday celebration they were having.

Grand Villa of Deland has been a wonderful place for my Dad. Especially Doreen. She has helped him transition to this Memory Care lifestyle. For my peace of mind she has taken the time to keep me updated and let me have FaceTime with him whenever I ask. She even made all the Men treat bags with Balloons for Fathers Day. I am so appreciative of her. In todays world it is so difficult to find someone so dedicated to her job! They are truly blessed to have her.

A lot of residents at Grand Villa of DeLand looked good. The biggest drawback was the structure of their facility. There were long hallways to their rooms like if my mother is in a wheelchair, they would have to go get her every day and take her down the elevator to the room where they eat and do activities. My impression of the staff was very good. The facility looked great, too. I saw the dining area and the community room, and they had a lot of activities posted. I saw a room where people were doing puzzles, and I saw people that had aides helping them, so it looked very good.
