My mother was in Bayside Terrace for nine months. The experience was fine. The staff was nice. It was clean and very professional. I liked it a lot, but we just couldn't afford it anymore. There were two different eating areas. The main assisted living area had a good chef. In the memory care area, the food was okay, but it was not as flavorful. The rooms were nice and big. It used to be an old hotel, and it's clean. The lobbies and the whole building were really pretty. They have activities for them. They provide a shuttle for anyone who wants to go shopping and for their doctor's appointments. They have a nurse on staff. They have different activity nights. They would do special things for the residents. The dining area was nice. It was like a nice restaurant area, not a cafeteria at all. They do have a patio and a walking area path around the facility. It's the cheapest facility in this city.

My father has been in the memory care unit for less than a month. My mother and I have visited him 2 times. He is well cared for, always clean and his room is kept very clean. The first time we visited he was very withdrawn and seemed to be completely out of it. 10 days later he was chipper, laughing and light hearted. He has dementia so he does not often make sense but he was happy. Keep up the good work and thank God for the caregivers at Bayside Terrace.
