Our parents are doing very well at The Bridges Retirement Community. The administrators were very direct, helpful, and flexible with us as we negotiated the transition for my parents. They were very clear with us about how we could help that transition, and what would be required to support my mother in memory care. They have been doing a very good job of keeping us informed about the various COVID protocols and things going on in the home. So it's been a good experience. Compared to some places that we saw, the rooms are pretty nice. My father's room is more like a little apartment with a fridge. My mother's room in memory care is old but very comfortable and nicely appointed. They keep the place up well and the surroundings are comfortable. They have a beautiful outdoor area where you can overlook gardens and the pond, and it's lovely. In general, the food is good. We haven't had any complaints and my mother seems to be eating well and my father also. I think they do a good job with the food. One area of improvement would maybe be some more activities that take the assisted living folks into the community. You can't do that now, because of COVID, so I kind of understand those limitations.
