My sister has moved into Seacoast at Uptown Oaks. She was very happy with it. She was happier when she came to the room. She looked around and looked for things that belonged to her. That made her feel more comfortable. It's very essential that when they come in, they see something that is theirs. That made a huge impact on her, knowing that she had little things here, like pictures, and her little accessories, something that she could relate to. The space is pretty good. It's very homey. She's in a private suite. It has a pretty good size and it's very comfortable. The staff so far has been very friendly and very cooperative. I have no complaints. They have activities. They take a handful of people from the memory unit and just take them outside to Walmart and things like that. These are people that they know they could control in a small environment and they bring them back. They will have ice cream and they'll hear some music. She seems to eat all her food, and she likes it. They try to have everyone sit at the table and just mingle and eat their food. I know part of the dining area is being renovated, so you still have some old furniture, but they're not broken. It's comfortable for them to eat there. It's affordable.
