Description

About This Community

The Landing of Lake Worth has everything you would expect from a senior care community and more. Yes, we have assisted living, but it's a bit more personalized and flexible. And yes, we have memory care, but it's a bit more comprehensive and thoughtful. But to really see who we are, it's best to take a tour and get to know us. That way you'll see how amazing a community can feel when care truly comes from the heart. Which, come to think of it, may explain why a whole lotta heart is our most popular service.

Assisted Living

Whether you need a little assistance or a lot, we're here to help. We will help with bathing, medication management, nutrition, coordinating care with your doctor, and more. In addition, you'll always have 24-hour access to a well-trained and friendly staff. And colossal amounts of warmth and compassion are, of course, included.

Memory Care

When your loved one is challenged with Alzheimer's disease or dementia it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Most families simply want to enjoy more meaningful time with their loved one. But that becomes difficult day-to-day. What we've found is that when we help take away some of the daily stress, it gets easier and everyone does better. Ask us how we can help.

My mother-in-law is at The Landing of Lake Worth. Overall, the staff is caring, attentive, and helpful with meals and activities. We had a few great dinners there, and the food was very good. The memory care dining area is more centered around tables and a kitchen. It's more like a home. The facility is nicely kept up. If you do see something, you can bring it to someone's attention and it's taken care of right away. My mom likes the fitness activities, arts and crafts, and flower arranging. The activity is different each week. The memory care unit is caring and like a family. They have fun daily and weekly activities that the residents can plan and enjoy. They don't have a pool area.

The Landing of Lake Worth was a new place, but they didn't have the right rooms that I need. The place was much smaller, but it's well-managed. It was perfect. It just didn't work out. It was lovely and really nice. The woman I spoke with has been there since the opening of the facility three years ago, and she's still there. The salesperson was a very nice woman. When I walked around, it seemed that everybody was very delightful and happy. I don't know all the amenities they have, but I am sure they have everything.

My in-laws are doing very well at The Landing of Lake Worth. The staff is doing well, too. Like any place, there are some staff members that do well with our parents. My wife's parents like them and the staff likes her, and there are some others that they have no opinion on. My wife's father is in a particular state of dementia where he gets angry and so you really can't judge by what he says. He doesn't really know what he's saying. Their room is very nice. We like the rooms and the layout. The food is good, too. We'd been there a few times to eat with them before COVID, and we enjoyed the food. This is a difficult time and we wish that we could at least see them through the window, and they're not even letting us do that. I think it's time for us to be able to at least see them through the windows.
