I chose Gull Point at Estero for my wife because they have the best care for her condition. I felt very comfortable about leaving her there. It's a very nice facility, the rooms are nice and clean and it doesn't smell, like some of the other places. She's got a corner room with three windows in it. It's on lockdown all the time, she can't get in unless an aide lets her in. So she's not going around shopping from room to room like other places I saw where they wander around to different people's rooms. The place is clean, it doesn't smell, and the activity director is fantastic. She gets three meals a day, plus two snacks. They have an activity director that keeps them busy all day long. They do different things like drawing, they plant stuff, playing miniature golf, playing with a noodle with a balloon on it, and they sing songs. Something is going on at all times. I would give them the highest rating there is, except for the management. Their staff has been there since the start. The place is six years old, and they still have the whole staff. Except that the head ones, they don't cooperate sometimes and they don't answer you right away.

My husband moved into Gull Point at Estero. So far, I'm satisfied. The food was outstanding on St. Patrick's Day. I couldn't believe it was that good. He's having a hard time adjusting, but I've only seen him twice, so I better go tomorrow. I dropped by on Saturday, and they were just watching TV. It seems like a quiet, clean place, and well-organized. So far, so good. I give it pretty good marks.
I like the people. The two gals that I really worked with were Julie (who was a nurse practitioner) and the head of the place (her name is Lee). They both were just awesome. I couldn't have asked for more accommodating people for me. The only thing is they don't get back to you when you call. I called a couple of times, and they didn't return the calls for a couple of days. I can understand if you're busy.
They do have a salon, and they have three courtyards that are nice. His room overlooks the courtyard. They keep the rooms locked, and I think that's to keep him from going in there and sleeping all day because that's what he did at home. It's clean. The chef is excellent, too. There's nobody around there screaming. It doesn't smell. It's almost new (at least it looks almost new), so they take good care of the place. He hasn't participated in anything. I think he goes to church and that's about it.
It's a nice room. It faces a courtyard. He shares a bathroom, but there's nobody in that other room, so it's his private bathroom. They keep it nice and clean. They must keep it clean because I bought a brand new comforter, and when I went in on St. Patrick's Day, they were already washing it.

Gull Point at Estero was very, very nice. We just wouldn't be able to afford it, but it was amazing. I would like to live there. It was clean and well managed. The staff was very kind and helpful. The facade looked nice. They had a nice area for everyone to go outside and relax, a gazebo and all that.

I toured the Gull Point at Estero last week. The staff was extremely informative, very helpful. The place was very clean, organized. The rooms were a nice size. They had definitely a choice to fit what you would be most comfortable to put your family member in. So you did have a choice to pick what would be the best fit. And they were nice locations. I'm dealing with memory care, that's what I need for my husband. I thought the activities and the structure were very good. They do evaluate from time to time. They will make sure that my husband is safe. There's enough staff. The staff ratio to patients is very good. I think they're very knowledgeable. I think you would feel comfortable putting a family member there.

Gull Point at Estero was very nice. It has a main atrium. They have assisted living on one side and memory care on the other side. It looked very much like it was bigger than the other place we went to. They weren't dog friendly, and they did not accept the Medicaid waiver; that made me discard it altogether. Nothing in the room is available. You have to buy your furniture; it's just a room. They were shut down, and they did not allow visitors because of COVID; the other place wasn't shut down.
The staff who gave the visit was very nice. It was the director who showed us around, and he followed up on our visit quite a few times. It was also more expensive. They have activities for them, and they bring in music. The rooms were nice, large, and had large bathrooms. It's a very nice facility.

Gull Point at Estero was nice. The staff was good. The rooms were nice. I didn't see them eating or anything, but they had a nice eating area. It looked like the staff was taking very good care of the residents there. The facility was very nice. They really looked after them. They kept them locked in and they screen the people coming in very well. They had outdoor stuff in the interior of the building, and they could go out there if they wanted to. It was nice, but it was just too hot. They had several different places they could go outside and walk around, and they would be safe in there. They had quite a bit of entertainment going on, and they had the people all out of their rooms, and it looked like they would keep them fairly busy.

I moved my mom from an ALF in Hallandale to Gull Point at Estero about a month ago. I wanted to be closer to her, and I also wasn’t very happy with where she was. After touring 4 different facilities, the decision was so simple! Upon arrival at Gull Point, I was very pleased with the appearance and cleanliness of the place. After meeting with the Director, Leigh, and meeting other staff members, touring the facility, seeing the residents engaged in daily activities, and listening to my gut :-), the decision was made! I have visited mom several times since she moved in. I’ve taken her out to breakfast, and I’ll be attending an event this week. I just love the family interaction, and warmth, the care, the professionalism, and cleanliness we have seen and experienced so far. I’m very excited for my mom. I feel so much better knowing she is there. Thank you, Gull Point!!

Due to covid, unable to see our loved one's room to see what else is needed, but the facility has exceeded out expectations. The staff have established a great relationship with the patient.

My mother is in Gull Point at Estero. So far, my mother's extremely happy. She's been on a nice routine. They have made-to-order meals, and it's better than what she got at home. They have the MD on staff and a registered nurse. I haven't been in her room because of COVID, but I saw a sample because they're sending me pictures, and it's perfect. The price is good, furniture is included, and it's got a window. They have an isolated area where we can go in and see her Monday through Friday up until 5:00, but weekends we have to see her through a window, which I did last weekend. They have bingo, which is good.
