My mother will be moving into Advent Square memory care. She has Alzheimer's, so it seems like the right size. It's small, and they have a community space and then they have the bedrooms. It seems like a good space for someone with Alzheimer's. It's not too big and not overwhelming. The staff seemed caring. There's a pretty garden. There's an outdoor area that's very nice where they can bring people out to sit. I like the size and the location. It's not far from me or my family. It's clean and they seemed caring. The room was adequate.

My wife is at Advent Square in Boca Raton. We chose it because of the size; it's very small. A lot of the places I looked at were large, people would just get lost, and there were too many people to take care of. That was one thing. Another thing is, in the part they took my wife in, the memory care, there were only sixteen people in that unit. That also convinced me because it was small. So, there was a nurse and an aide who could take care of the sixteen people easily. The place is also connected with the Lutheran church up in front, and the main thing is that it's non-profit. So because it's non-profit, they don't charge you for every little thing. In other words, they just want the monthly payment, and that's it. It all just made a lot of sense.
The nurse there is a wonderful woman, and the price is good. My wife also seems to love the food; she eats everything.
They have activities. Just this past week, they painted the women's nails, and they had people come in to sing to the crowd and because of the virus, they did it outside in the courtyard. They do a lot of things for the residents; they keep them pretty busy.

Advent Square is excellent. My mother's room is kept clean. They have activities for the residents, and they have good food. The staff is very caring, polite, and helpful.

The dining area was fine at Advent Square. I didn't see anything suspicious going on with the staff. The semi-private and private rooms were fine. They had a library. We walked around the outside, which was secure. It was a locked down facility. Everybody I knew that stayed there did fine, and they recommended it to me. For the dollar, it's probably the best out there.
