I was impressed with Brentwood at Fore Ranch from the time I saw the facility to the time I got done with my tour, with everything they had, including the food. The rooms were very nice. They're very clean. The person who assisted me was very nice. She went above and beyond. She had taken a couple of meals out to my parents to try to give them an idea of how the food would be and what to expect. I wasn't expecting that. The dining area was very nice. It was good. They had several activities. They had the fitness room and the hair salon thing for women. It was nice.

Brentwood at Fore Ranch was very nice, but it was a two-story facility and I think the part that I visited was more for higher functioning individuals. It was more of an apartment living so I don't think it's going to be able to meet the needs that I need for my spouse.
They showed me the assisted living and the memory care unit. The staff gave me some information, but she wasn't as thorough as the person in the other facility I visited where they told me a lot of other things about the aides and attendants. Just a lot of information that this place did not but it could be because the people here don't need them or use them.
They were very nice about inviting me to come to have a meal there. It seemed to be that the facilities were for the higher functioning individuals and it's very nice. They had a lot of activities and things like that too but I was looking more for memory care.
The place was close to our home so it could have been a good location. It's like 5 minutes away and close to the community hospital.
