My tour of Meadow Mills Assisted Living Memory Care went very well. It was extremely pleasant, and I really like the facility. The ambiance was very homey, and the rooms were a little small, but it was nice. I think it was a pretty good place, but my father never stayed there. Their staff was fantastic. She was great, her name's Maureen, I believe. She just gave me a lot of time, was very caring, and just a nice person. I never even felt like she was trying to sell me something, she was just very relaxing. They had nice common areas, and nice outdoor grounds. She showed me some physical therapy room, and where they eat. There's the kitchen, physical therapy, and then the nurse's station. It was kind of kind of typical, but I would recommend that place even though my father had never stayed there, but I liked it. The dining area was rather cozy and inviting. You couldn't find anything wrong. The facility is pretty clean. It was a little dark in there, but what I saw looked pretty clean.

I went to Meadow Mills Assisted Living Memory Care. It was an excellent experience. The staff was excellent, and what I liked the most was they had wonderful doctors coming through. The doctors they had were the best. The rooms were fine and about the same as others, but more than adequate.

During COVID you would want to put a loved one somewhere you trust. Meadow mills was great until I moved my mother in. Within 48 hours of her being there she was injured. All contact got very strange and awful. I’ll save the sad ending. Save your time and do yourself a favor and look at your other options. They made it clear we weren’t cared about at all and most importantly my mother wasn’t cared for how she should’ve been. I am hurt by my experiences here and the lack of empathy and passion. LOOK OTHER PLACES!!!

I chose Meadow Mills for my mother because the price was in our range and we had a good recommendation from our friend who was an elder care nurse. We haven't been able to go in yet, but the outside was very nice. It was well kept, clean, it's also small and private, which we liked; it's not a large community. My mom has been there a few weeks and we're very happy with the staff. Everyone has been wonderful and accommodating. I haven't had a bad experience yet. She seems to like the food. She told me that she misses having ice cream, so I told her to ask them to give it to her, and they did. She can go and ask for any food that she's not served and they can give it to her if it's available. The activities are very good, and because it's memory care they have a lot of activities. They keep them busy from after breakfast to 6:00 at night, and they have activities of all sorts. She gets all sorts of personal assistance, goes to all the activities, and somebody there does her nails for her for no charge, which I think is great.

My mother was at Meadow Mills. It was a very good experience. The staff was knowledgeable, kind and attentive. Cleanliness was excellent. Each time I came in, they were either doing an activity in the common room or watching a movie. Her room was a little small, but adequate. We were satisfied.

Meadow Mills is a memory care facility. The only drawback was they didn't have any transportation to doctors' appointments and outside trips. The rooms were pretty standard, they were setup into households, so the dining areas were small and intimate. They have a yard.

My wife is in this community, and she is doing very well there. The reason why I chose it is because they are specific just for dementia. All they have are dementia patients there. I feel comfortable with that because the staff is trained in dementia. So, it seems like a good fit. The environment is great. It is a lock down facility with a very large backyard. My wife is a big walker, and she is able to go walking back there. It is all enclosed as well so that works out well. I have not tried the food, but I am there when they feed the residents, and it looks appetizing. They have activities several times a day. I am there when they do activities. They try to interact to things to try to have everyone involve like talking about Halloween or what kind of Halloween costumes you remember, and they try to get feedback from the residents that way.

This community was okay but very small. The rooms were small as well but the staff was accommodating. They had a garden area and some activities. They had a story time and someone who assisted the residents with different things. Many of the residents can’t function. The dining room was average.

My grandmother was admitted here when she was diagnosed with dementia. I visited her several times over the years she was there. Overall, I would consider this to be a good community. The staff was always friendly and helpful and there were many activities planned each day for the residents. The rooms were very nice and each resident had a bedroom with a living area as well as a bathroom. The rooms were personalized and each hallway was decorated differently so it was easy for the residents to remember where their room was. The only negative thing was that I would have liked to have seen my grandmother receive a greater level of medical care. She did not always receive physical therapy as much as needed which would have helped her to remain physically active for a longer period of time. However, I would still rate this assisted living home very highly.

This commuity was a terrific place for my mother. They kept her busy and encouraged her to particpate in th large variety of activities offered. It was the least depressing facility for alzheimer's care that I saw. Her anxiety level was greatly decreased. The administrators were easy to get hold of and happy to work with us. There was an initial adjustment period where they did not want us to call or contact my mother which was not good for my Mom - but we were able to discuss that with the nurse and speak to mom. I am glad she had the time there to be giggly and social and secure.
