The worst experience I could have imagined. This is not a place that can handle people with dementia-related illnesses. Thirty days after moving in they told us we needed to hire 24/7 care in addition to the rates we were already paying them for care. Some of the staff lie and I am confident that my mother was neglected there. Room was rarely cleaned -couldn't wait to get my mother out of there. Unfortunately we could not undo the distress that they caused her

The Greens is a small facility and that makes all the difference. It is clean, pretty and the food is good. But what makes them exceptional is the staff. They are the most caring, professional, dedicated people you will ever work with. They are supportive and kind to the residents but also exceptionally communicative and supportive with family members. I moved my mom from a large assisted living in Philadelphia to here and notice their 100% dedication to compassion and communication.

When I first visited my grandma in The Greens, I was shocked at how beautiful it was! I was really expecting a run down sort of place but that was not the case at all. Her room was nicer than the one at her old home and I even think it made her sister (who visted her as well) jealous of how nice it was. Grandma commented that the food was so-so, but she was always a picky eater so that should be taken with a grain of salt. The staff as a whole was pleasant, respectful, and personable. Sandra, one of the nurses, just LOVED my grandma and would often spend her lunch breaks with my grandma because they got along so well. All in all, I would recommend the Greens to any family looking for a safe, happy place for their elders. It was truly a pleasant surprise to see nana live her last days there.

The staff is very warm and kind and compassionate and the facility itself is nice and well maintained. They don't engage residents in a lot of intellectually-stimulating activities so I think they need to do a better job of making the environment more lively, but overall it is a nice place, safe and with good quality of care.

My loved one has fallen over 10 times in the past year in this facility. My loved one has complained that all of the staff that take care of the residents are from the islands and do not understand English and do not care to understand the pleas of the residents, some who can be heard crying help, help for hours. My love one has complained about the demeaning treatment she has received. It is a shame that are elderly are subjected to this.
