Benchmark at Split Rock was very nice. The lady we talked to was excellent and very informative. We looked at both assisted living and memory care. Everything seemed good. They sent us home with some sandwiches, and they tasted fine.

I visited Benchmark at Split Rock. I thought it was just a little bit overcrowded. The food, the menus, and everything else was good. They have entertainment. When I walked in there, they had a guy singing. It seemed like they had a lot of people that were interacting, so that was good.
The room was tiny, really small, and the price was very, very expensive. I think it was $13,700 a month. I don't know where they come up with the prices. I mean, it was such a small room. The reason why it's called Split Rock, it's because when you look out the window there's a cliff staring at you in the face. It wouldn't be my first choice to put my mother, that's for sure.
The lady I talked to, she was in the management area, she was very helpful, and she walked me through everything. Information wise, it was great; I learned a lot.
All I saw was the menu. I really didn't know about the food too much. The menu was very extensive, so that looked good and everything.
