About This Community

We are a community that creates environments where moments of joy, independence and wellness are the focus each and every day. Garden Square of Greeley Assisted Living and Memory Care is comprised of 16 assisted living and 16 memory care apartments. We provide a more intimate, cozy atmosphere that feels more like a home. Our dining spaces are open and can accommodate all residents and guests that wish to eat together. Our community features common living spaces, including a library and reading nooks, as well as pleasant outdoor patios and walking paths around the garden. A person's independence, ability to function, and quality of life can be improved through our person-directed living approach. Service plans, life enrichment, and daily living needs are met with the individual's desires and preferences taken into account. We do our best to tailor services to each individual, according to their preferences and lifestyle.

Our Home like settings can provide physical and emotional relief as well as peace of mind for families with a memory-impaired loved one. Our staff members undergo dementia-specific training when learning how to provide assistance services to elders with dementia.

I went to Garden Square of Greeley. It's very homey and very comfortable. The residents seemed happy. The staff member was excellent. She was friendly and knowledgeable, didn't rush us, and took her time to explain things. She was very, very good. Their layout was really good, it's just what their residents need. They have two courtyards there that are safe and secure so that people don't feel like they're locked in. They have activities. They have "sit and fit," they have animal therapy, they have a lot of arts and crafts. They take care of the residents, apparently, from what I can tell. I'm going back today for a second tour, and taking my family with me.

My dad is staying at Garden Square in Greely. The staff has been great, they've been helping me out. He is in hospice and they've been helping quite a bit. He's comfortable in his room and it's comfortable for us to visit him. He's in the last stage of dementia so he's in the memory care unit. The one meal I saw before he stopped eating, looked very good. He ate it all. The communication is great, they call to let me know what's going on all the time.

My mom moved into Garden Square of Greeley yesterday. Ashley, the lady that works there, was very helpful, and the staff is really friendly, too. Basically, it is in a neighborhood that my mom is comfortable with, and we like that area because we're from here. From what I could see of it, because I did a walking tour online, it was clean, and it looked nice. The room seemed a little small, but other than that it seemed like a nice place, it felt homey, and it felt like my mom would like the decor. I know they have a salon in there and a patio out back, and they said they have laundry and housekeeping, too.

Garden Square of Greeley was very clean and people are absolutely friendly and caring. I'm very comfortable with my mom being there. The staff is trained in memory care and they understand Alzheimer's and dementia. They're very attentive to my mother's needs, and they give me unprompted updates on her, meaning if she's having a really good or bad day, they let me know. I don't even ask for it, they just provide it to me. The meals are very diverse and they've done a good job on that.
