Meadowview of Greeley was a no-go, we would not move my parents there. The staff was just awesome, we like them and we're very impressed with them. It was just a maintenance issue; there was water damage on the ceilings. As you walk up to the building, there were issues with shutters, there was paint missing. It just looked trashy, and then you walk inside, and it looked uncared for, even the carpets. It was just maintenance issues that needed to be taken care of. The staff was fantastic, but there were trip hazards because there were rips in the carpet and things like that.
It just was not what we were looking for. This is where the food smelled awful. It was supposed to be a pot roast that day, and it did not smell like a pot roast. The people started gathering in the cafeteria lunch area at about 11, and that's all we saw. What they served when we left the tour did not smell like pot roast. The staff were very nice, very friendly, and they answered all our questions. They talked to the patients, and they knew them by their first names.
