Recently the Regency held a Wedding vow renewal and included my parents in the celebration. Seeing the smiles and giddiness on my parents faces was priceless. I am always pleasantly surprised by all the fun and engaging social activities my parents get to participate in on a daily basis. My cousin from New York visited my parents. He is a Nurse Practitioner who has worked in several memory care programs in the East Coast and he was impressed by the staff at the Regency and gave me the best vote of confidence assuring me that I made the right decision by placing my parents at the Regency.

At Regency Palms the staff has taken excellent care of my Alzheimer’s affected sister. They have been helpful to our family and protected our loved one from COVID. Staff is friendly, fun and professional even in these difficult times.

This is a really nice place. The building is a tastefully renovated high-rise from the 1920s, retaining its original elegance but with modern amenities. It's just beautiful. It has a rooftop lounge, which is used for events and visiting. The rooms and common areas are always spotless. The staff are a delight. The administrators have been invariably helpful and responsive, and the caregivers show a genuine concern for the well-being of the residents. And, in a memory-care environment, that can be trying. But in my many visits, residents have always been treated with the greatest kindness and respect. They also did a good job of dealing with the residents' individual needs; that can get pretty complicated. My wife, who was a resident there, had a complicated medication schedule, always received her meds correctly and on time. Unfortunately, the activities were somewhat attenuated by the Covid 19 precautions. The staff and management have addressed the matter of virus safety with the greatest care and seriousness. On a couple occasions, when a staff member or resident tested positive, the floor was immediately quarantined and visitors to other floors were required to wear PPE. My wife, who had advanced Parkinson's disease, was a resident at the Regency for a little less than a year, until her passing in December 2021. She needed extensive care, and received what she needed. I couldn't be happier with her experience there.

Outstanding facility. The staff are caring, wonderful people. My mother has been there for 2 years and has done extremely well (and safe during COVID!). She tells me how happy she is “at home.” I am very grateful to have my mother at Regency Palms.

I am a physician and my mother has been a resident at Regency Palms for over a year. I spent a great deal of time and effort researching locations before settling on Regency Palms. I could not be happier. The facilities are clean and safe, the food excellent. However, what makes Regency Palms special is the staff and management. They have provided my mother with care, kindness, and respect. Their job is very difficult- especially during these times. I give Regency Palms my highest recommendation.

I like Regency Palms Long Beach a lot. The rooms at the assisted living facility were comfortable, stylish, and appropriate. They were playing broom hockey in the memory care room, and they had some puzzles and coloring out. The PhD candidate doing the memory care was enthusiastic, young, insightful and creative. The salesman was very informative and eager to make a good deal for my mother. They have a floor for memory care, but it's exactly like any of the other floors and they have a special facility in the basement where daily memory care activities are taken care of. They have an elevator, and people can move up and down to their appropriate areas. The cookie I had was good.
