I liked Sunrise of Sabre Springs a lot. They had the same amenities as the others, but it was a 4-floor building. The memory care was on the 3rd floor, and you had to get an elevator. I felt that it was too much like a hotel, but it was extremely pleasant, and the help was wonderful. I saw activities with a ball and kind of questions and memory things.

We looked at numerous places before luckily finding Sunrise, and as soon as we checked Sunrise out, we knew this was the right place for my dad. His dementia had progressed to where he needed a secured living situation, and with the entire floor dedicated to such needs, he has a large space to walk around, get some sunshine in the large outdoor patio, get some food in the large eating area, or just go sit in a reading room off the main entry way for this floor.
The staff is amazing! I don't know how they do it day and and day out. They all know my dad, and even the director of the entire place knows him and knows all the other residents - it's an amazingly caring place and I can't recommend it enough. Again, we looked at a lot of places, and after you do, you get to recognize what good care looks like, and Sunrise is great care!
We are kept up to date with communications, notified about any issues. They help the residents make/receive phone calls and use Facetime (when and if that's what you want) and they redirect residents when needed.
It's a great, secure, and safe environment. We've also been impressed with their actions to the COVID pandemic - they were one of the first places we'd heard of who began to limit in-person visits and put various protocols in place - way before anyone else was doing anything to prevent the disease within these fragile "neighborhoods". Kudos to the Sunrise leadership for being on top of this.

My friend's experience at Sunrise of Sabre Springs was very good. They were just a little costly and they didn't provide the extra nursing requirement he needed, so I had to hire an outside LVN to come in and it just made it very expensive. I would have let him just stay there, but they couldn't give us the extra nursing requirement he needed. His room was beautiful and huge with lots of windows and lots of light. He was on the 3rd floor.
The food seemed really good. I had dinner with him a few times before the Covid restrictions. The food was nice and the portions were small for seniors, but you can have as much as you want. You could request a double serving if you wanted an additional. The chef talked with my friend, when he moved in there, about the special nutritional need requirements and restrictions. He's never complained about the food, and he said it's really good.
He started at assisted living and then later on to memory care. He stayed there for a year. They had a movie theater and field trips where they took residents out to scenic drives and a lot of directed activities in the memory care area to keep the residents busy. They did a lot of decorating, they used the old decorations there and engaged the residents with that. They did arts and crafts and things that they have an option of joining like lectures.

We toured Sunrise of Sabre Springs. We didn't tour anything but the room that my loved one would be staying in because of coronavirus. It was a small, but nice room connected to another room with a shared bathroom. I only met one staff member, but she was very knowledgeable, very nice, and helpful. They didn't have an outdoor area.

My cousin is living in Sunrise of Sabre Springs for 3 years now. We had a wonderful experience, the people there are great, the staff is wonderful, and the facility is really nice and clean. They were very well attended to. My cousin is always dressed, clean, very well-kept, and happy. They're always doing some type of activity. I've eaten there several times and it's very good. They play games, they do arts and crafts, and go on outings. They have birthday parties, they have people come and sing, and they do church service. I wouldn't be moving here if not for the finances, but you get your money's worth. It was like she had a family there, it has a very family type atmosphere, and it's a great place for her to be.
