Our friend has moved to Belmont Village Sabre Springs. The staff members are very, very good and very cooperative. They keep track of where everybody is, escort them to and from, give them reminders about various things and activities, and make sure they get down to lunch. They have a lot of activities for memory care folks.
There are three levels in memory care. There are level 1 and level 2. Once they've gone past level 2, they go into a whole separate area. The rooms are nice. The place is clean and well-maintained.
The food is excellent. They offer several choices at mealtime. Family and friends are welcome to come and join them.
They have exercise. They have memory development. They have tours, and they go on outings. They have a pool for water aerobics classes on Tuesdays. They have a nice, outdoor, and fully contained area that they can go out in. They have a little putting green. They also have barbecues outdoors. They have a movie theater in the building, and they show movies every night.

I toured Belmont Village Sabre Springs. I'm so pleased with what I saw and with the particular levels of memory care, since they have different levels in their program. I have a nurse coming in from Belmont to do a half-hour assessment with my dad to see if he would qualify for that program. The tour was very good and very thorough. They listened to what kind of care my dad is getting where he's at. They have a Circle of Friends program for memory care. They are the only community I know that has it; it puts memory care in the same environment as the independent living and assisted living levels. They have their own separate day programs where they end up working more on cognitive sales and such. So they don't just work on activities that anybody can do; some of the activities there are very focused on the dementia. They're also able to eat in the dining room with everybody from the independent living and assisted living communities. They also have happy hours and concerts. It's a much freer facility; they can go anywhere in their secure neighborhood area. We're hoping he'll qualify for the Circle of Friends so he could be among people who don't necessarily have dementia. The staff was great, and they seemed to be very nice. We met with them for over an hour for the tour, they were very courteous, and they go above and beyond. They also sent us home with cookies, and they were good.

My mother is a resident of the assisted living of Belmont Village Sabre Springs. Our experience so far has been OK. We've had some adjustments because there were some things that weren't working, but we talked to the director and they were able to resolve the issues. The staff has been great, they're a fabulous, and they're a really good staff. My mother is in a single apartment. In the Alzheimer's patients' area the rooms are all individual unless the residents are a couple. They do memory care activities, they have a great program and they also take field trips, go to the movies, and all kinds of things. My mother really enjoyed that part. They have great meals, although I think the portions are too large.

My mother moved into Belmont Village Sabre Springs and is now adjusting quite well. She now refers to it as the hotel, which is a good thing. With her particular level of dementia, they have created a particular program called A Circle of Friends. So they help her with her needs in the mornings, and she joins her Circle of Friends for the day. After her final meal in the evening we hired outside help for a couple of hours when she tends to have Sundown Syndrome, and they help her get ready for bed. So her whole day is pretty full, and she seems to sleep pretty well. Her circle of friends are the same every day, and are in the same level of dementia that she is. They keep them busy with activities and current activities, and they do a great job of that. The living environment is very clean and they keep it very well-maintained. The restaurant there continues to have a daily special for each meal, and they also have a reliable menu with different items. So there's a lot of variety available. They have movies, a little bit of wine tastings in the afternoon, and all of that comes with entertainment. They honor whatever holiday it is, and they involve the residents in the best possible way. They are keeping them active with projects, arts and crafts, and trivia; it's a pretty novel program. The staff is always very responsive. The food is excellent, I've dined in the dining room a couple of times. and it's been great. I'm going to say that for the price we're getting exactly what we need.

My father had been a resident in the Neighborhood section of Belmont Village (BV), Sabre Springs for close to five years. BV provided my father with the comfort, care and social engagement needed as a senior with severe dementia. For my family, BV provided us with the security and ease we needed to ensure that our father had the best, safest, cleanest residence available. The PALS truly care about the residents. They had incredible patience and affection for my dad. They treated him like a family member. Inan, Beth and Jessica were incredible advocates for all the residence in order to provide the best care possible. And, at the time of my father's passing, I could not have asked for a better support team. In addition to the Hospice care, my father received, BV allowed my father to die with dignity in his own residence and not be transferred to a hospital. I offer regular testimonials about BV to my friends who are in the same situation dealing with an elderly family member with memory care issues. Indeed, one of my friends has her mother comfortably living in Belmont Village of Encinitas.
