My parents will be moving into Oakmont of Fullerton. The staff was very pleasant, easy to talk to, and willing to answer the questions. The facility itself was very nice and up to date. The key factor for me when we went to do the tour that day was that the guy holding or conducting the music class was very engaging. Before I knew it, my dad was on the microphone singing and participating in their activity, even though we were just there visiting. They made them feel right at home. The rooms are very spacious and well laid out for safety purposes. The staff who did the tour was very knowledgeable and very friendly. They have exercise, a walking path, a movie room, and a fitness center. They have a shuttle to take them off the campus, where they could go to the supermarket or off-site.

Oakmont of Fullerton was very nice. It's a brand new place, it was just big. There's nothing bad about that place. It's gorgeous. It's beautiful. It just opened up I think in March. They had a secure place for Alzheimer's and they had activities and things to do. These places were all the same price-wise and everything. They had music. They all had the same type of activities. There's only so much they can do. They had a little garden. You could live there yourself if you had enough money to live in an apartment.

We looked at Oakmont of Fullerton memory care side. It was beautiful, but it was very expensive. The facility was essentially brand new, and they had just started moving residents in two weeks beforehand. It was very nice, but it was way out of our price range.
The amenities were nice. There were a lot of different activities, and they had a good variety of food. I liked the layout of the shared rooms, but they were divided by a bathroom. We liked the floor plan. It's top of the line. It was like Beverly Hills of senior living.
