Mom is at Palm Vista Senior Living and it's been a positive experience so far. They have activities for her throughout the day that she participated in. She has her meals and snacks in between, so she can pretty much eat any time that she likes. I went to have lunch with her one day and the food was very good. It's a new facility and she's the first occupant of the place. She's in memory care and she hasn't gotten her permanent room yet, because we were doing this on a trial basis, but I think that she will be permanent there. The room she has right now is nice. It's clean, very neat, and has a private bath. The common areas are very nice, too. The cafe area looks like a little restaurant. It's very nice and cozy. They have two common living areas that look the same. They look like little living rooms that have a sofa and a couple of chairs with a television. They also have an outdoor court area with a garden, a little waterfall, and bench seating. It's very homey.
