Though I haven't actually eaten the food, since I am a family member of a resident, the food always looks good and smells great. I find the facility itself light and bright, love the decor, the ability for my resident to walk around at will, indoors or outside in the enclosed garden area, and the staff always eager to help and please. My resident has nothing but nice things to say about the staff.

The Commons at Dallas Ranch is overall very clean, but there are some things that my mom needs that they can't offer. Her room is very clean and spacious. The bathroom is very spacious and sometimes she has to use her walker, so I like that part about it. The grounds and the dining area are very nice and pleasant. She loves the food. However, if you have a lot of chronic conditions, you're going to need someone who's medically able to recognize symptoms and I wasn't aware that was not available. Other than that, it's a good place and it's safe. They have a security lock. It's a very nice building. The staff in general is very caring, younger and patient, but they're not able to accommodate my mom's physical limitations. They have puzzles. They decorate their wheelchairs and doors. They encourage the residents who like to stay in their rooms to come out. They have music playing.
