My mom moved into Carlton Senior Living San Leandro. I like the place a lot. It is clean, friendly, helpful, and just a good place. Her room is clean, taken care of, and watched. It's very good.
The staff are wonderful, and they have been awesome. They're really good people. Based on my experience, the food is OK. They don't have a dining area for the memory care; it's just sort of at a table, but it's fine. I'm very happy; otherwise, she would not be there.
I know that they have a bingo thing. Also they take them for a ride in a van, so that's cool.
It's way too much for what I'm getting, as far as what I'm paying. I know I pay for the staff, but I just think they're too expensive. For my money, when I look around, they seem to be the best. You got to pay for what you want.

Carlton Senior Living has a newer building, it was a little far from me, and parking was limited. The staff member was very nice, cordial, and kind, and followed up with me. The rooms were very nice, and a little bit larger, especially the shared rooms.

My mother moved into the memory care of Carlton Senior from the assisted living part. The employees are very attentive to the residents needs, its very clean, and theres a lot of activities for the residents to enjoy.
