Ann's mom
My mother has advanced Alzheimer’s Dementia and has been a resident at Treacy/Ventura Villa for over 6 years. I have transitioned my mother through several facilities in Ventura County as her condition advanced. When she reached the stage where she required 24 hour supervision, I needed to find a facility that I could trust to care for her. I have worked in assisted living facilities for more than 10 years. So I was well aware of the options available to me. When I visited Treacy Villa I was very impressed with the ownership and the staff at that time. Since I moved my mother in, the care that she has received has been as good or better than anywhere she has been a resident. The caregivers who take care of her have become like family to me. Dora is very pro-active and attentive to my mom and I can always count on her. She is amazing! I visit at least once a week and even through the transition to new management, I have found the level of care has only gotten better. I realize how difficult it can be to care for elderly people in the latter stages of life and not everyone is capable of doing this work. I feel blessed and so thankful to everyone who is involved in providing the loving care to my mom.
