We toured the memory care of Merrill Gardens at Santa Maria. It was good. They were very, very strict on the COVID protocols there. We thought it was a little bit excessive, but we understand that they are doing it to protect their clients. The staff was very good, as far as the people taking care of the clients there; they were very good. They're one of the most friendly we had visited.
The facility looks good. It was older, and they had told us they were going to update and remodel the memory care here for the next five to six months. They had not started yet. We visited them in the third week of January, so they might have started it already. They have three buildings there. They have it all together. It's separated from the rest of the facility, and they have higher security. They're not allowed to wander. They have a large garden to walk around, but they do have security all the way around so they won't be lost.
They have a dining room, an activities room, and each client has their own individual bedroom with a bathroom.
